A – Gas Stove and Oven
To turn on the stove:
- Lift up the metal cover
- Press and turn the knob (circled in yellow (1)) of the respective stove burner that you want to use a quarter counterclockwise and use a lighter/matchstick to ignite that stove burner
- Lower the flame by turning the knob another quarter counterclockwise
Note: you can find the lighter/matchstick box in the drawers
To turn off the stove:
- Turn the knob back to the original position
Attention: The knob must be in the top position (fully turned clockwise), or gas will be released from the stove burner. Never leave the stove on with the glass cover down.
To turn on the oven:
- Open the oven door
- Press and turn the central knob (circled in green (2)) counterclockwise and use a lighter/matchstick to ignite the oven burner (circled in red (3))
- Adjust the temperature by turning the knob.
To turn off the oven:
- Turn the knob back to the original position
Attention: The knob must be in the top position (fully turned clockwise), or gas will be released from the oven burner.
B – Electric Kettle
To turn it on:
- Fill up the kettle with water (you can open the lid by pulling back on the inside of the hole circled in yellow (2))
- Place the kettle in the base
- Press the button circled in red (1)
Attention: Do NOT put other liquids besides water inside the electric kettle.
C – Microwave
To turn it on:
- Open the door by pressing the button (circled in green (1))
- Place the food that you want to heat inside
- Select the mode you want to use by rotating the knob circled in red (2)
- Rotate the knob circled in orange (3) clockwise, up to the amount of time you want to heat the food
Attention: Don’t put metallic containers inside the microwave.
D – AC
To turn it on:
- Press the “On/Off” Button in the AC remote (circled in green (1))
- Select the desired temperature with the “Temp” button (circled in red (2))
To turn it off:
- Press the “On/Off” Button in the AC remote (circled in green (1))
Attention: The AC might take some time to turn on and reach the desired temperature. As such, wait 3-5 min before trying to readjust the temperature again.
E – Espresso Machine (DeltaQ)
To turn it on:
- Fill up the reservoir in the back of the machine (circled in red (1)) with water and place a cup in the cup support
- Press any of the 3 buttons located on the front of the machine (circled in green (2)) and wait until they stop blinking
- Pull the metal lever up (circled in yellow (3)) and place a capsule inside of the machine
- Press one of the 3 buttons located on the front of the machine (circled in green (2)), depending on the type of beverage you want:
- Press the left button for an Espresso coffee
- Press the middle/bottom button for a Lungo coffee
- Press the right button for a Tisane
Attention: This machine only accepts DeltaQ capsules like the one on the left (circled in orange (4)). Don’t try to put other type of capsules inside.
F – Iron
To turn it on:
- Fill up with water through the zone circled in green (1)
- Select the appropriated temperature by rotating the knob (circled in red (2))
- Plug in the iron and wait for the sole-plate to warm up
Note: If you want a burst of steam to be emitted from the sole-plate press the top right button (circled in orange (3))
G – Washing Machine
To turn it on (Quick Wash program):
- Open the door by pulling the handle (circled in green (1)), put the laundry inside and close the door again
- Open the detergent drawer (marked in red (2)) and put in the detergent/softener:
- put detergent in the left side (2a)
- put softener in the middle (2b)
- In the zone circled in orange (3)), rotate the knob 6 positions clockwise until the program number 6
- Press the left button (circled in yellow (4))
Attention: After the washing program finishes wait 3 to 5 minutes before trying to open the door. Do NOT try to forcibly open the door
H – Toaster
To turn it on:
- Place the bread inside the toaster
- Select the desired toasting level by rotating the knob circled in orange (1)
- Push down the lever circled in green (2)
Note: If you desire to stop the toaster prematurely you can press the button circled in red (3)
