One-Bedroom Apartment (T1 second floor)

A – Induction Hob

To turn it on:

  1. Place the pan on the stove
  2. Turn on the induction hob by pressing the On/Off button (circled in green (1))
  3. Press the appropriate button in the area circled in yellow (2) to select the place where the pan is
  4. Press the “+” button to increase the temperature until the desired amount is reached (and press the “-” button to reduce the temperature) (circled in orange (3))

Important:

  • The buttons react to touching, so you do not need to apply any pressure to the controls, just place the bottom of your finger on the button and wait until it actuates.
  • If the procedure isn’t working the induction plate might be locked. Check if there’s a red light above the lock button (circled in red (4)), and if there is, press that button for a couple of seconds.

To turn it off:

  1. Press the On/Off button (circled in green (1))

B – Electric Kettle

To turn it on:

  1. Fill up the kettle with water (you can open the lid by pulling back on the inside of the hole circled in green (2))
  2. Place the kettle in the base
  3. Press the button circled in red (1)

C – Microwave

To turn it on:

  1. Open the door by pulling the handle (circled in green (1))
  2. Place the food that you want to heat inside
  3. Select the mode you want to use by rotating the knob circled in orange (2)
  4. Rotate the knob circled in red (3) clockwise, up to the amount of time you want to heat the food

D – AC

To turn it on:

  1. Press the “On/Off” Button in the AC remote (Circled in green (1))
  2. Select the desired temperature with the “Temp” button (Circled in red (2))

To turn it off:

  1. Press the “On/Off” Button in the AC remote (Circled in green (1))


E – Espresso Machine (DeltaQ)

To turn it on:

  1. Fill up the reservoir in the back of the machine (circled in red (1)) with water and place a cup in the cup support
  2. Press any of the 3 buttons located on the front of the machine (circled in green (2)) and wait until they stop blinking
  3. Pull the metal lever up (circled in yellow (3)) and place a capsule inside of the machine
  4. Press one of the 3 buttons located on the front of the machine (circled in green (2)), depending on the type of beverage you want:
    • Press the left button for an Espresso coffee
    • Press the middle/bottom button for a Lungo coffee
    • Press the right button for a Tisane

F – Iron

To turn it on:

  1. Fill up with water through the zone circled in green (1)
  2. Select the appropriated temperature by rotating the knob (circled in red (2))
  3. Plug in the iron and wait for the sole-plate to warm up

G – Washing Machine

To turn it on (Quick Wash program):

  1. Open the door by pulling the handle (circled in green (1)), put the laundry inside and close the door again
  2. Open the detergent drawer (marked in red (2)) and put in the detergent/softener:
    • put detergent in the left side (2a)
    • put softener in the middle (2b)
  3. In the zone circled in orange (3)), rotate the left knob 6 positions clockwise and the right knob to the 30°C
  4. Press the left button (circled in yellow (4))

H – Toaster

To turn it on:

  1. Place the bread inside the toaster
  2. Select the desired toasting level by rotating the knob circled in orange (1)
  3. Push down the lever circled in green (2)

I – TV

To turn it on/off:

  1. Press the power button (button at the top left corner of the remote)

In case the channels don’t appear press the input button (circled in red (1)) and then use the arrow buttons (circled in green (2)) to select the “TV” option (circled in orange (3)) in the list “Sources list” that appeared in the television.
